My wife and I have had season tickets since before the stadium was rebuilt.  I love baseball and have only wanted season tickets for baseball since I was a young teenager.  When we got them, I didn't realize that going to baseball games would be such a major part of my life.  I have made countless friends through the past five years as I got autographs with fellow autograph hounds.  My wife and I made friends with people who sit around us at the game, with staff members, the administration, and even the players who got to know me as they walked by or I spoke to them when they coach first base. 

Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of having season tickets for so long is seeing my daughter, Elizabeth, grow up at the stadium.  She's only 3 1/2, but she caught her first ball before she was born when my pregnant wife got an errant ball thrown at her stomach.  Elizabeth loves to get autographs with me, see Orbit, the Chili Guys, and Taco, play in the outfield, run the bases, see her friends who sit near us, and wear her glove while she watches the game.  Many of the veteran staff members know her and say hi to her as she strolls around.  I never have to worry about her because I know she's in good hands with the staff there. 

I now have another daughter who is only 6 months old, but I expect she'll become a familiar face around the stadium as well.  It's my home away from home.  I sometimes think I should get my mail delivered there and a have a box installed under my seat so I can keep my glove and plastic cup for water in there.  Maybe the Isotopes can make some lockers available to us long-time season ticket holders who rarely miss a game.  I think in the past 5 years, I've missed less than a total of 10 games.  Not bad!
